Israeli leaders celebrate Independence Day with song

President
Shimon Peres will host the official Independence Day celebrations at
the President's Residence on Tuesday, with songs and aerial
demonstrations.
The president will honor 120 exceptional soldiers and officers with an award, after IAF planes conduct a honorary flyover.
The president will then host the "Singing Independence" concert attended by Israel's top political and army officials, who will perform duets with leading Israeli singers.
President Peres will sing the song Yahad (Together) with singer Keren Peles, while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will perform a rendition of the song Tefila (Prayer) with Idan Amadi. Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon will duet with Hagit Yasso, while Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz will sing LeAhad HaHayalim (To One of the Soldiers) with Sharon Kidushin.
