During Yom Ha'Kipurim Magen David
Adom (MDA) teams were in the highest level of alert. The stations
reinforced by volunteers, deploying ambulances and Medi-Cycles in the
communities and neighborhoods, activating First Responders in synagogues
and next to the Western Wall.
MDA teams responded to 2,243 calls.
268 people were fainted .
MDA teams have treated 228 children and adults that got injured while riding Bicycles of all kinds and Rollerblades,2 children in mild condition,
25 car accidents victims of which , 1 moderately injured and another mildly injured.
26 people were injured from violence.
MDA teams treated & evacuated to the hospitals 174 women in labor, taking part in the delivery of 7 new babies
During the holiday day, MDA Blood Services supplied 93 blood units to the hospitals.
Unfortunately there were 2 stones throwing towards MDA ambulance by kids and youths (not by ultra orthodox people).
